The World Wide version DR-1 opens your world! It lets you record on blank DVD-R discs in PAL! Codefree so it plays all PAL DVD movies on your PAL-NTSC TV. Camcorder owners will love making pristine DVD copies of videos for easy playback, or sharing with friends and family. Plus, the DR-1 is a great codefree all-zone DVD player too with progressive-scan output for an improved picture with an HD-compatible TV.
You can make PAL or NTSC DVD recordings on re-writable DVD-RW discs, write-once DVD-R discs or DVD-RAM (for playback on nearly all current DVD players from most brands).
