Now, video: Pioneer's PureCinema(tm) progressive scan and 54MHz/10-bit video processing combine to deliver a spectacular visual wallop. Pioneer's exclusive Viterbi error correction provides super-accurate reading of your discs. And a twin-wave laser pickup allows superior playback of DVD-Video, DVD-R, and DVD-RW (when recorded in Video Mode).

The Pioneer DV-45A Region-free DVD Player is Region Free. This Multisystem Region Free model is configured for worldwide playback so it supports all 1-6 regions in both PAL and NTSC standards. This model has a Progressive Scan feature, which improves the overall detail and quality of the video. To use the Progessive Scan feature however, a Progressive Scan TV will be needed.

Please note that although this and all our region-free DVD players will play all discs from anywhere in the world, in order to watch DVDs originating from PAL regions, you will need either a multisystem television or a PAL to NTSC converter.
