The SD-5915 region-free DVD player from Toshiba features a five-disc DVD carousel changer and a spectacular viewing experience. Loaded with powerful audio and video processors, you can enjoy your favorite DVDs more than ever with realistic visuals and sound.
The multi region SD-5915 utilizes Toshiba's ColorStream Pro progressive-scan video technology to yield vivid colors, clean resolution, and reduced onscreen distortion. Digital cinema progressive scanning, or 3:2 pulldown, reproduces your DVDs in theaterlike clarity. The SD-5915 features a 10 bit/27 MHz video digital-to-analog converter that adds natural warmth to the picture. While the SD-5915 is compatible with both analog and digital televisions, you will get the optimum effect by linking the player with a high-definition-compatible television.
You can take full advantage of that picture clarity with the versatile digital picture zoom option, which lets you magnify a portion of the picture onscreen while in freeze-frame mode or even while watching a DVD in real time. The feature is great for spotting details in movies or even adjusting letterboxed movies to fill your screen. The SD-5915 also features a wide array of DVD features, including random play, multiple angle selection, a fast-scan option that allows you to fly through DVDs at up to 20 times the regular speed, and three slow-motion speeds.
Load up the SD-5915 with five of your favorite PAL or NTSC DVDs or music discs. In addition to playing a full range of DVDs, the SD-5915 plays CDs and MP3 audio files, so you can enjoy your favorite music. You can also view digital JPEG photos from CDs created in your computer with the SD-5915.

This converter translates digital audio data into a natural, high-fidelity sound. The SD-5915 also features 3D virtual surround sound, with an easy-to-connect, multichannel coaxial digital audio output, rear-panel composite audio and video inputs, and a S-video connection.
