Digital Cinema Progressive: Reduces motion artifacts and picture breakups especially on hightly detailed or fast-moving images. An automatic circuit deployed in Toshiba ColorStream Pro® models recognizes 24-frame content on DVD discs. When activated it converts the film standard of 24-frames-per-second record on the disc to the progressive scan standard of 60-frames-per-second for display on HD-compatible televisions.
ColorStream® Component Video Output: Splits the video signal into three separate components, unlike composite video, which delivers red, green, blue, and black & white detail all as one signal. Separating the color and detail portions of the signal reduces the amount of signal processing performed by the television. This is especially useful for DVD films and Digital TV signals, which are both recorded as component video signals.
