HD-Ready Theatre Wide

New Theatre Wide Projection TV is HD-Ready where broadcast signals are received via broadband, the images are even clearer and sharper. The Wide Band Video Amplifier significantly increases the video resolution and accurately reproduces HD video signals.

Convergence-Free

A feature that helps produce crystal clear colours and images free of smear or bleed. The Convergence-Free feature ensures all three RGB beams to converge on the same spot on the screen so that the focus is always perfect and no aligning of the guns is necessary.

Pegasus III

The new Pegasus III electron gun is the world's first impregnated cathode gun to be used in a projection CRT, and it's found in every new Theatre Wide PJ TV. With Pegasus III, 10% increase in brightness is achieved without compromising the focus quality. This is achieved through internal aluminum film that distributes light more evenly. At the same time the spot size of the beam is maintained, resulting in a focused and brighter image.

Digital 100 Frame Scan

Digital 100 Frame Scan is an intelligent image scanning process that reduces flickers of the entire TV screen.

Hyper Progressive Scan

The Hyper Progressive Scan technology brings alive the finest details of every motion on screen. It captures normal interlace input in a progressive matter that allows the scanning lines per hour to double and eliminate flickers on screen to reproduce pictures faithful to the original.

3-Dimensional Y/C Separator

Viewers can now enjoy the best image output with the most ideal brightness and precise colour interpretation because of the 3-D Digital Comb Filter. It separates and distributes the Y (Luminance) and C (Colour) signals in vertical, horizontal and time dimensions, giving images the optimal profiling on screen.

Focus

Focus enhances precise localization and clarity of sounds based on the standard speaker systems. By using SRS and Trusurround together, sound expansion is remarkably improved.

SRS Virtual Surround

This technology enables a three dimensional surrounding sound field from a two-channel stereo source. An even much wider sweet spot area is created to enhance your audio pleasure.

TruBass

The technology elevates the sound quality as it brings out rich bass sound as good as that from the speakers, which is normally not achievable by smaller speakers. It enables the reproduction of low sounds that exceed speakers' physical capacities.
