Toshiba Multi system VCRs

Multi system VCRs allow you to play VHS video tapes of different formats, such as NTSC and PAL or SECAM, and output them in the same format. Thus, in order to see a PAL video tape on an NTSC TV or vice versa, you must either have a multi system TV, or a multi system converter (PAL, SECAM and NTSC) that will convert the video signals from the multi system VCR to the proper format for the TV, or a converting multi system VCR. Please note that you will obtain the best possible picture quality with two separate devices, either a multi system VCR and TV or a multisystem VCR and converter. The 2-in-1 solution, the converting multi system VCR, while being a functional device, will not give you the results of two separate units.
