Activating Your Service:

• Insert the a klax.max SIM card into your GSM phone
• Turn on your phone
• Enter Pin 1, found in the white envelope labeled PIN and press #
• Dial 2040 (free of charge) directly from your klax.max mobile phone
• Enter 4 for "Individual Settings"
• Enter 2 for "Language Choice"
• Enter 2 for "English

Adding Talk Time:

Klax.max recharge cards (also called the Rubbelkarte) are available at most convenience stores, tabac shops and petrol stations throughout Austria. They may be purchased in denominations of ATS 200 (US$12.50) or ATS 500 (US$31.00).

To charge the SIM with a recharge card proceed as follows:

• Rub off the gray protective layer
• A 14-digit number will be revealed
• Dial 2040
• Follow the instructions you hear

• From your keypad type: *105* followed by your 14 digit code and the send key

Service Life:

The klax.max airtime credit will expire every 12 months and incoming calls can be received for up to 12 months even without and call credit remaining. If the klax.max is not reloaded at least once every 12 months then the SIM card and accompanying phone number will expire.

Voice Mail:

To initialize your voicemail:

• Dial 2200 from your mobile phone
• An automated voice prompt system will then request the following:
  • 4 digit passcode
  • 30 second greeting
  • Your name

To listen to your messages:

• Dial 2200
• Press 1 to listen or repeat a message
• Press 2 to save a message for 48 hr
• Press 3 to delete a message

To change your voicemail settings:

• Dial 2200 and press 3
• Select option 1 to change your greeting
• Select option 2 to change your name
• Select option 3 to change your password
