Activating Your Service:

• Insert the Mobicarte SIM card into your GSM phone
• Dial 226 to select the language for the menus (English)
• Dial 222 then push "*1" (you need to push "asterisk" and then "1" on your keypad) to receive your phone number and call credit
• Start calling

Adding Talk Time:

Mobicarte recharge cards are available at most convenience stores, tabac shops and petrol stations throughout France. They may be purchased in 70F (US$9.16), 140F (US$18.40) or 250F (US$32.72) denominations. The 250F recharge card has a bonus 30F included for a total of 280F (US$36.64).

To charge the SIM with a recharge card proceed as follows:

• Rub off the gray protective layer
• A 14-digit number will be revealed
• Dial 224 from your own mobile phone
• Follow the instructions you hear

Service Life:

Mobicarte airtime credit will expire every 2 months, however incoming calls can be received for up to 8 months. If the credit is not used in the 2 months, it is lost. If the mobicarte is not reloaded at least once every 8 months then the SIM card and accompanying phone number will expire.
