Activating Your Service:

The Barbados SIM card is enclosed in an envelope (containing your Barbados Cell Phone number, security PIN and PUK) which is locally referred to in Barbados as a "Flex Pack". Your Barbados Cellular Phone number will begin 1 (246) XXX-XXXX.

To start using your service simply:

• Be sure that battery is charged
• Insert the Barbados SIM chip into the cellular phone
• Turn on your phone
• Enter the PIN code*
• Start calling

Customer service for your Barbados DigiFlex prepaid SIM card is available 24 hr./day by dialing 100 at any time from your Barbados cellular phone.

When calling overseas from the United States to your Barbados cellular phone number callers will need to dial 1(same country code as the US) followed your Barbados cell phone number. To call abroad from your Barbados cell phone simply dial the ‘+’ key (on your cell phone) followed by the country code and phone number.

* Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which on the welcome letter affixed to your Barbados SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

Adding Talk Time:

Your Barbados Digiflex SIM card has an initial airtime credit of BRD$20 ($10) which includes BRD$10 preloaded on the SIM and a BRD$10 airtime voucher. Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime or FLEXcards vouchers, as they are referred to locally (not another SIM card), in Barbados. FLEXcards airtime vouchers are available in the following denominations:

• BRD$10 ($5.60)
• BRD$20 ($9)
• BRD$50 ($15)
• BRD$75 ($26.20)

Simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective SEK denomination you purchased.

Airtime vouchers are available locally, in Barbados, at local convenience stores, Digicel shops and authorized dealers.

Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.

Rates:

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Barbados from your prepaid TIM Barbados SIM card while you are in Barbados. All incoming calls regardless of where they originate are FREE.

Your cellular phone can receive e-mail from any other e-mail address Your e-mail address for your prepaid SIM card will be your last 7-digits of your phone number @digitextbb.com (ex. 2601234@digitextbb.com) and all incoming e-mails are free. Outgoing e-mails with your Barbados prepaid SIM are are charged as an SMS at BRD$.20 ($.10)/msg.

Service Life:

Your SIM card is initially valid for 30-days when you arrive in Barbados. Everytime you add airtime you have an additional 30-day. If you do not recharge your account within 2-months your Mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit on your Barbados SIM card will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The validity period begins the day you arrive in Barbados.
