You will need to purchase a prepaid SIM package which includes a SIM chip. Additional minutes will be applied to the same cellular phone number so you will always be able to retain your international cellular phone number. The recharge cards require you to enter a specific and unique code into your handset in order to recharge your phone with additional minutes.

Card Usage:

To place a call with your SIM card:

Within the GSM service area, the phone is instructed by the system to automatically dial the appropriate access codes. Just dial * 1 1 1 * then the phone number (country code if calling abroad, city code and then the number), press # and finally the send key to dial any number, anywhere.

To reload your SIM card:

Dial * 1 2 3 * then enter the scratch-off security number on the reload card, push the # sign and then the send key.

To do a free Balance Check on your SIM card:

Dial * 1 4 7 *, then press # and then the send key.

notes:

• Swisscom International Card will be ending its servicing as of Dec. 1, 2003. Any remaining units left on the card will be lost.
• If the Swisscom card is not charged at least once within a 12-month period, the card will expire.
• Swisscom cannot give any functional guarantee on behalf of other nework providers due to technical or infrastructure incapabilities.
