- Travel to The Cayman Islands
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
- Insert the Cayman Islands SIM chip into the cellular phone*
- Turn on your phone
- Enter PIN1 code^
- Start calling**
Customer service for your Cayman Islands prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 100 at any time from your Cayman Islands cellular phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Cayman Islands SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Cayman Islands SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
^ Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which will be on the welcome letter affixed to your prepaid Cayman Islands SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.
**When calling overseas from the United States to your Cayman Islands cellular phone, callers will need to dial 1 followed by your Cayman Islands cell phone number. To call abroad from your Cayman Islands cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number. |

Making international calls from your world cell phone has never been easier than with your prepaid Cayman Islands SIM card. All rates are listed per minute for international outgoing calls from a Cayman Islands prepaid SIM card within Cayman Islands, however outgoing calls will be billed to the second.

GPRS is currently not available, however you will be able to receive email via your DigiCel SIM card: Your e-mail address will be the last 7-digits of your phone number @digitextky.com (ex. 2601234@digitextbb.com) and all incoming e-mails are free. Outgoing e-mails with your Cayman prepaid SIM are charged as an SMS at CI$.20 ($0.10 USD) per message. |

| Adding Airtime |
Your Cayman Islands Digiflex SIM card has an initial airtime credit of CI$13 ($16 USD) which includes CI$3 preloaded on the SIM and a CI$10 airtime voucher. Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime or FLEXcards vouchers, as they are referred to locally (not another SIM card), in Cayman Islands. FLEXcards airtime vouchers are available in the following denominations:
- CI$10 / $12 ( 30-day expiry period)
- CI$25 / $30 (45-day expiry period)
- CI$50 / $60 (60-day expiry period)
Simply scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone, the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective dollar denomination you purchased. Airtime vouchers are available locally in the Cayman Islands at local Tabac shops, convenience stores, gas stations, post offices and Digicel shops.
Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime. |

| Service Life |
You have 60 days in which to top-up your digiFLEX account after the expiration of each FLEXcard. If you fail to do this, your account will be deactivated. You will be able to receive calls but will need to top-up in order to make a call. If your account remains dormant for an additional 60 days, your account will automatically be terminated which means your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit on your Cayman Islands SIM card will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The validity period begins the day you arrive in the Cayman Islands. |
