Activating Your Service:

Your Hong Kong cell phone number can be found on your SIM card and begins 852. To activate your Hong Kong cell phone, simply follow the instructions below:

• Insert the SmarTone SIM card into your mobile phone
• Be sure that battery is charged
• Start calling

Customer service for your Hong Kong SmarTone prepaid SIM card is available 24 hr./day by dialing 2880 2688. To access Toll-Free Account Management Hotline, dial 177 2288.

When calling overseas from the United States to your Hong Kong cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 852 and then your Hong Kong cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Hong Kong cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number

Adding Talk Time:

To recharge your stored-value Hong Kong SIM card, you can do one of the following:

• Purchase a SmarTone Recharge Voucher any any SmarTone shop, 24-hr convenience stores or authorized dealers. Recharge vouchers for your Hong Kong SIM card are valued at HK$200 or HK$300.
• Visit www.smartone.com.hk and choose "Stored Value SIM card" and then click "Recharge Methods." You may also dial 18031 from your Hong Kong cell phone (while in Hong Kong). The recharge value will be loaded to your SIM card instantly.
• You may also recharge your Hong Kong SIM card via an ATM at the "JETCO" or "ETC" Terminals. Select "SmarTone," enter your mobile phone number and follow the instructions to complete the recharge process of your Hong Kong cell phone. (The minimum recharge value is $100.)

note: The stored-value SIM for your Hong Kong cell phone will expire 180 days from the activation date with all unused credit being forfeit and nonrefundable.

Rates:

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Hong Kong from your Hong Kong SIM card while you are in Hong Kong. All incoming calls while in Hong Kong are HK$0.30 / US $0.04, regardless of where they originate.

Service Life:

The stored-value for your Hong Kong SmarTone SIM card will expire 180 days from the activation date with all unused credit being forfeit and nonrefundable. The stored-value in your SIM card will be extended another 180 days after the completion of the recharging process with a minimum amount of HK$100 (US$12.80).
